While the exact cause of the wildfires, which ignited on August 8, is yet to be determined, the disaster has already become the deadliest fire-related incident in the U.S. in over a century. The death toll, which surpassed 90 individuals on Monday, continues to rise as search efforts persist for numerous missing persons. Property damage is estimated to exceed $5.5 billion, underscoring the urgency of recovery initiatives.
