Daher, the aircraft manufacturer, proudly announced the delivery of its 80th TBM 960 single-engine turboprop on Monday. Launched in April 2022, the TBM 960 is the latest addition to Daher's TBM 900 series aircraft family, which also includes the TBM 900, TBM 910, TBM 930, and TBM 940. With this recent delivery, Daher has successfully provided 488 TBM 900 series aircraft and a total of 1,155 TBMs to date.
The TBM 960 has garnered praise from owners and operators for its exceptional flight experience and increased cabin comfort, along with enhanced efficiency and sustainability. It leverages cutting-edge technology, featuring digital control for the engine, propeller, and a digitally-controlled cabin.
Equipped with a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6E-66XT engine and a five-blade composite propeller from Hartzell, the TBM 960 boasts a top cruise speed of 330 knots, a remarkable 1,730-NM range, and a maximum payload capacity of 1,446 pounds. The aircraft is designed to seat up to six people comfortably and is equipped with the state-of-the-art Garmin G3000 integrated flight deck.
