FAA Certifies McCauley's C780 Propeller for Beechcraft King Air B300 Series Aircraft

McCauley Propeller Systems has announced the FAA certification of its high-performance C780 propeller for Beechcraft King Air B300 series aircraft. The C780 propeller offers several advantages to B300 operators, including a weight reduction of over 50 pounds, enhanced takeoff and climb performance, and reduced cabin and cockpit noise. It also boasts an impressive time between overhaul (TBO) of 5,000 hours or 72 months.

Heidi McNary, Vice President and General Manager of McCauley Propeller Systems, described the C780 as a new, lightweight, scimitar blade design propeller that enhances the renowned flying experience of the King Air. The company takes pride in delivering the exceptional quality and craftsmanship it has built a reputation for over its 85-year history.

The C780 propeller features a diameter of 105 inches and is constructed from aluminum, weighing a total of 173 pounds. Notably, its installation does not require any additional modifications to the aircraft or changes to existing operating procedures. Textron Aviation service centers and authorized McCauley service facilities are fully equipped to carry out the propeller installation process.
